What's the different between Massage Therapy and Movement Therapy?

Great Question! Massage Therapy is the manual manipulation of muscles and soft tissue to help relieve pain, improve circulation, reduce stress, and promotes relaxation and general wellness. Movement Therapy uses corrective strategies to bring the body back into balance through assessments paired with special programming for stretching, rolling, and total body exercise.

What should I wear?

Massage Services: In order prevent possible product stains on garments and provide the massage practitioner better access to muscle tissue, ideally all clothing should be removed. Skilled and appropriate draping will be used for the entire service to ensure your modesty. If you prefer leaving your undergarments on then that is perfectly okay. Your comfort is always the highest priority!

Shiatsu Treatments: Wear comfortable clothing that will remain on for the entire service. Similar to what you might wear to the gym: not too bulky and easy to move in.

Movement Therapy: Wear comfortable clothing that you can move, stretch, and sweat in!
